Girls Weekend Retreat

It was the year that we all turned 50! There were ten of us girls who had been particularly close in high school. One of the girls decided that we should have an annual get together to celebrate the anniversary of our 50th birthday. The first year we got together at Nancy's home in North Alabama and had a great time.   Since most of us had not seen each other for several years, we spent most of the weekend just catching up on each others lives and families.

The next year we all gathered at Diane's home in Memphis. In addition to catching up with each other, Diane showed us the sights and sounds of Memphis.  We ate Bar B Que at the Rendezvous and even saw an Elvis memorabilia collection which we later learned sold at auction for a small fortune.

This year the other Nancy hosted the group at Coastal Classic.   We had "tea" at Magnolia and Ivy' and visited other out of the way places in the area.  For dinner we dined at Cafe' 331 and Nicks' on the Bay.  During the day we shopped and walked and talked and enjoyed the emerald, crystal clear waters of the Gulf.  Everyone enjoyed themselves and we hope to return to Coastal Classic next year before rotating to the homes of other members of the class.

Ladies, gather your friends and give yourself a well-deserved break.

Family Reunion

Unwind with a book from our growing collection or relax in the hammock on the 4th floor tower and enjoy a beautiful sunset. You can cook for the group in the well equipped kitchen, have the meal catered or dine at one of the many great restaurants in the area.

If you family reunion exceeds the capacity of Coastal Classic, we will be glad to assist you in booking accommodations in some of the other nice vacation homes in Gulf Trace. Nancy and I have hosted events for 75-100 people so we have rented all of the properties in Gulf Trace and know what you can expect from each one of them.

50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

Looking for the perfect place to host a 50th wedding anniversary celebration, look no further than Coastal Classic.  The large kitchen and dining area is perfect for meals.  When the kids and grandchildren tire of the beach, there is the pool and don't forget that we have an elevator.  If you need more space than we have, we will be glad to help you make contact with other vacation home owners in Gulf Trace.
