Tommy and Nancy Thomas are the owners of Coastal Classic. Tommy grew up near Auburn, Alabama and his family came to Panama City Beach for two weeks vacation every summer. Nancy was raised near Birmingham. Her family came to Seagrove Beach (when there was only one motel) every summer for vacation. We discovered the Beaches of South Walton in the early ‘90s when we began to come to the beach as a couple for our vacations.

Being avid cyclists, we would ride our bicycles up and down Highway 30-A. This was before the days of the bike path. Back then Gulf Trace was a much smaller development and not an obvious place to find. One hot June afternoon we were riding east on 30-A and noticed a small sign that said Gulf Trace. We turned right and followed that road into the subdivision. We could hardly believe our eyes. Here was this neat little development nestled on the beach and surrounded by State Preserve. We fell in love with the development and immediately began to save our money in hopes of owning a house in Gulf Trace one day.

Our dream came true when we built our first house, BreezeWay. Later we sold BreezeWay and built Coastal Classic. I am sure that we are biased, but I believe that our lot and the way the house is designed and positioned on the lot gives us the best views of any house in Gulf Trace.
